She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Overman and Cora Overman (Sawyer); her husband Gerald Gilbert "Gib" Spengler; her grandchildren, Geremy Spengler and Molly Miller; her brother Ellis Overman; and her son-in-law Doug Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Blaine Spengler (Nancy) of Winfield, Marilyn Miller of Winfield and Elaine Spengler Boyer (Curtis) of Newkirk, OK; her grandchildren, Kristin Priest, Sarah Owens, Cody Boyer, Paige Boyer, Heath Spengler, Payton Spengler and Whitley Albright; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Abby, Andru, Ethan, Olivia, Corban, Georgia, Addisyn, Jake, Annie, Ayda, Parker, Joel, Victoria, Isabella, Emma, Viola, Fitz, Lily and Elizabeth.
A memorial has been established in Marquita's name for the Cowley County 4-H Development Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
