He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Fred and Alice Nadine Lumbert (Archer); his son Steven Lee Lumbert; and his siblings, Carole Grant and Phillip "Max" Lumbert.
He is survived by: his former wife Donna Barnhardt; his wife Linda Lumbert of Winfield; his children, Ross Lumbert (Jana) of Rose Hill, Morse Neighbors (Donna McClain) of Winfield, Gayle Walker (Brad) of Chandler, TX and Lisa Chrisman (Joe) of Winfield; his grandchild Hollie; and his great grandchildren, Emmy, Abe, Lucy, Bryon, Kevin, Isla, Scott and Ruth.
A memorial has been established in Howard's name for Gentiva Hospice or New Hope Fellowship Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
