It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Bumgardner of Winfield, Kansas, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Chester and Wilma Edra Sparks (McDonald); her spouse Jackie Neil Bumgardner; her son Danny L. Stewart; and her brothers, Duane Sparks, Larry Sparks and Riley Sparks.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Stewart (Terry) of Arkansas City, Cricket Stephenson (Russell) of Udall and Sunshine Fortner (Ron) of Arkansas City; her stepdaughter Brenda Bumgardner of Orchard, NE; and her siblings, Bonnie J. Beckman of Marysville, Douglas L. Flin (Judy) of Colorado and Ronald L. Sparks (Debbie) of Kanopolis. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in Elaine's name for the Alzheimer's Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
