She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Thurston and Matilda Sturgill; her former spouse Shelby Schoonover; her husband Earl "Andy" Anderson; and her siblings, Rev. Carlos Sturgill and Mabel Stokes.
She is survived by: her former spouse Buron Armstrong Murray; her daughter Patricia Murray Gallardo Xi of Santee, CA; her siblings, Helen Stevenson of Los Angeles, CA, Dillard Sturgill (Peggy) of Indiana, Dan Sturgill (Sharon) of Indiana and Jewell Clem; and her stepchildren, Larry Anderson M. D. (Loretta) of Wellington, KS, Loretta Teagarden (George) of La Cygne, KS, Loraine Wilson (Mark), Leland Anderson (Jackie) of Neodesha, KS and Lowell Anderson (Teresa) of Williamsburg, KS. She is also survived by several grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
