It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marita Martinez of Wellsville, Kansas, born in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on April 11, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Wayne and Mary Henrietta Hendricks (Hudson); her siblings, Cheryl, Alice, Gary, Buddy and David; and her nephew Ryan Hendricks.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Martinez; her children, Karista Martinez of Wellsville, Clint Jones (Anna) of Overland Park and Brandon Martinez (Crissy) of Wellsville; her siblings, Steve Hendricks (Jeanette) of Edgerton and Mary Herbert (Skip) of Gardner; her grandchildren, Jordyn, Micah, Derek and Zachary; her great grandchildren, Jeffy and Bo; and her pet Annabelle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
