She was predeceased by: her parents, George Zavala and Hortencia Zavala (Sanchez); her husband Ira Lee Flynn; her brothers, Bernie Zavala and Ruben Zavala; her nephews, Joshua Zavala and Dallas Payne; and her great-nephew Jaxon McEachern.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Pierce (Aaron) of Haysville and Ira Wayne Flynn of Haysville, Kansas; her siblings, Max Zavala, Margie McGlothern (Gary) of Wichita, Kansas and Maryann Zavala of Wellington, Kansas; her siblings-in-law, Jesse Flynn of Wellington, Kansas and Mary Schaffer (Kevin) of Wellington, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Dominick Pierce, Timothy Pierce, Bryland Benton (Jullia) and Elexis Pierce. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be given in her name to the Wellington Humane Society.
