He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Evelyn; his brothers, Donnie and Bob; and his granddaughter Cassady.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann of Wellington, Kansas; his children, Sean (Amy) of Denver, Colorado, Stacey (David) of St. Louis, Missouri and Matthew of Wellington, Kansas; his sister Ann Lasley (Jim) of Grand Junction, Colorado; his grandchildren, Meaghan (Brice), Sean (Chelsea), Courtney, Monica, Emily (Ryan) and Eric; his great grandchildren, Dalaigh, Finn and Cullen; and his sister-in-law Robin of California.
In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established with the Wellington Free Will Baptist Church.
