He was predeceased by: his father Clinton Harold Everhart; his son Kenneth Rex; his mother Fern Everhart (Phares); his siblings, Bonnie Vail, Vernon (Dorothy Everhart) and Delwin Everhart; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Eastin, Don Wilson and Jane Lee Clift (Worrall Clift).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jo Marsh; his children, Lori Oathout (Scot), Jeff Everhart (Toni) and Joni Hopkins; his grandchildren, Lyndsie Oathout (Joshua McWithey), Mallory (Josh Sapp), McKenna Oathout, Jared Oathout, Krista Everhart, Matthew Everhart, Jordan Hopkins, Navya Hopkins, Marshall Hopkins, Kedzie Hopkins East (John East), Selci Hopkins, Divya Hopkins, Sara (Nick Hale), Sidney Gile and Samuel Gile; his great grandchildren, Emma Sapp and Jamie Hale; his sisters, Myrna Eastin and Barbara Wilson; and his siblings-in-law, Don Vail and Virginia Everhart.
