We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2022, at the age of 94, John Phillip Gwinner of Wellington, Kansas, born in Ellsworth, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Agnes (Fishburn) and Charles Carley Gwinner (Charlie); his siblings, Ruth Wicker (Jack), Jack (Eileen) and Bob Gwinner (Betty); and his granddaughter Emily R. L. Gwinner.
He is survived by: his friend Phil; his son Charlie; his daughter-in-law Terese R. Lewis; his grandsons, Lucas M. L. Deaton and Phillip C. L. Gwinner; his great grandchild Kayleigh R. Deaton; his nephews, Kent Wicker (Kathy) and Craig Gwinner (Brenda); his niece Nanette; and his grandmother Wooten (Coy). He is also survived by great-great nephews, and nieces.
In lieu of flowers Phil wished to establish a memorial at First United Methodist Church, 202 W Harvey Ave, Wellington, KS. 67152. (316-326-7403).
