He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert S. Amberg and Bessie L. Amberg (Stephens); his siblings, Billie Waters, Josephine Webber and Al Amberg; his daughter Jackie Edwards; and his granddaughters, Mistie Rayl and Stormie Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his daughter Robin Tompkins (Tom) of Wellington; his grandchildren, Jamie Edwards (Mindy) of Hutchinson, Curtis Edwards (Melissa) of Hutchinson, Dustin Johnson (Suzanne) of Wellington and Halie Johnson-Vazquez of Wellington; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Breckyn, Braelyn, Blaze, Brookelyn, Blaire, Brylee, Blyss and Bryndle; his stepgreat-granddaughter Paris Gregory; and his friend Inez Glamann of Wellington, Kansas..
