He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Weedman Church and Anna Coelene Church (Ditmore). He is survived by: his son Ronald Church (Brenda) of Wellington; his siblings, Larry "Joe" Church of Wellington and Judy K. Beat (LeRoy) of Wichita; and his grandson Connor Church of Wellington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial has been established with the Wellington Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
