With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Ann Sharpsteen of Wellington, Kansas, who passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ray and Velma Alice Carter (Stiles); her husband Walt Sharpsteen; and her daughter Julia Sharpsteen. She is survived by: her children, William "Ray" Sharpsteen of Wichita, Kansas, Pat Sharpsteen (Leigh) of Wichita, Kansas and Monica "Mo" Nugen (Matt) of Wellington, Kansas; her daughter-in-law Teresa Sharpsteen of Wichita; her grandchildren, Megan Nugen of Wellington, Matthew Kiker of Wichita, Garett Dean Nugen (Cassandra) of Newton, Peyton Sharpsteen of Wichita and Justin Nugen of Wellington; and her great grandchildren, Carson Nugen of Wellington, Kansas., Caedee Nugen of Wellington, Kansas. and Conner Nugen of Wellington, Kansas..
