He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Iva Mertle and Walter Jacob Helm; his son Jerry Bert Bradley; his grandchild Arlow (Sibyl); his family Reverend Zane Brooks; his siblings, Rachel, Fern, Wilber, Lotus, Charles, Raymond, Donald and Jerry; his grandson Jerry Dean Bradley; his brother Kentent (Kenny); and his grandson Dr. Jonathan 'Doc Bradley.
He became a member of the Wellington Freewill Baptist Church (WFBC) which he attended religiously (pun intended) until the Covid19 virus forced him to stay home for health reasons.
