He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Rippel; his pets, Wiskers and Snoopy; his sons, Ronnie Rippel (Angie) of Scammon, KS and Donald Rippel of Pittsburg, KS; his stepsons, Larry Marshall of McCune, KS and Roger Marshall of Weir, KS; his grandsons, Kenneth C. Rippel (Kristy), Neal D. Rippel (Jennifer), William D. Rippel and Wade A. Rippel (Rachel); and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Sylas, Reagen, Sloane and Lennex.
