He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Matter and Opal Matter (Judd); and his brother John Matter. He is survived by: his children, Heath Matter of Wichita, KS, Bob Matter of Santa Clarita, CA, Beverly Johnson of Wyandotte, OK and Liz Jessup of Rocklin, CA; and his sister Annetta Roberts of Kansas City, KS. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
