It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melanie Joy Drake of Wathena, Kansas, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melanie Joy Drake to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Sr. Euler and Gladys Euler (Weigant); her siblings, Jack, Everett Jr. Euler and Maxine Sklenar; her niece Kim Euler; and her nephew Brian Reipen.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Drake; her son Brad Drake (Sheena); her grandchildren, Ashton, Lauren Drake, Riley, Rhett and Reese Foster; her great grandchildren, Josiah and Malachi; and her siblings, Molly Horner (Bill) and J. D. Euler (Peg). She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the Gideon Ministry to further her passion for spreading God's word.
