She is survived by: her spouse Charles Hewins; her children, Mary Ann Euler (Don), Kassie Newton (David), Marty Hewins (Kay), Jeanie Weidmaier (Rick) and Jerri Michaels (Steve); her spouse Elmer Earl Koons; her children, Steve Koons, Kathy Koons, Ruth Koons, Walt Koons (Laura), Frieda Larson (Guy) and Tricia Harris (Gregg); her sister Thelma Hewins; and her sister-in-law Sharon Staudenmaier. She is also survived by 11 children, 18 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
