It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Smith of Wathena, Kansas, born in Comer, Georgia, who passed away on March 1, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Smith and Charlotte Smith; and his siblings, Doyle Smith, Jack Smith, Doug Smith and Sara Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Crook; his daughter Celena Fuson (Michael); and his grandsons, John and Robert Fuson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
