She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Sr. Derks and Gertrude Derks (Lager); her husband James Jermain; and her siblings, Louise Rogers, Lucille Frampton and Raymond Derks Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Don Jermain (Donna), Jerry Jermain (Stephanie), Gary Jermain (Sheryl) and Deanna Powell (Rob); and her siblings, Elaine Hamilton and Marvin Derks (Helen). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity in Dorothy's name.
