He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick L. Hegarty and Lillian Hegarty (Hampl); his brother Pat "PJ" Hegarty; and his sister-in-law Julie Hegarty. He is survived by: his wife Terri Winkel; his children, Danny King, Leslie Suba (John) and Thomas Hegarty; his grandchildren, Ashlyn King, Tyler King and LeAnna Suba; and his siblings, Vic Hegarty of Atchison, Kansas., Sheila Boos (Larry) of Atchison, Kansas., Mary Perkins (Joe) of Atchison, Kansas. and Tim Hegarty (Teresa) of Atchison, Kansas.. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
