Barbara Jean Speaks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Speaks of Troy, Kansas, born in Hays, Kansas, who passed away on September 16, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luddie "Clay" Thomas and Anna Thomas (Winder); her son James Speaks; her son-in-law Gary Blanton; and her brother Lowell Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Blanton, Thomas Speaks (Anita), Troy, Brenda (Larry), Turpin, Patricia Ahlvers (Keith) and David Speaks; and her sister-in-law Rosalie Thomas Oelschlaeger. She is also survived by Twelve grandchildren twenty-one great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Doniphan County Ambulance District #1 or Donor's Choice.
