He was predeceased by: his parents, Candido Guerrero Sr. and Modesta Guerrero (Cervantez); and his siblings, Samuel Guerrero, Lupe Mitchell, Carmen Llamas, Sarah Mosqueda, Rebecca Guerrero, Carole Guerrero and Margaret Gutierrez.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Brookshire; his children, Elaine Guerrero, Brian, Austin Brookshire and Cassie Chavez (Joseph); his siblings, Rachel Rodriguez and Candido Guerrero Jr. (Ernestina); his grandchildren, Rosly, Alex, Aubree, Gracie, Ella, Jaxton, Addison and Charlotte; and his former wife Ernestina Adame Gallego. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
Due to the COVID pandemic the family will be requiring attendees to wear masks and highly encouraging friends and family to wear KU or Raiders attire.
