He was predeceased by: his son William Russell Lawson (Rusty). He is survived by: his former wife Vivian Lorraine Vanderslice; his wife Cindy L. Lawson; his children, Daniel L. Lawson of Topeka and Lori Kampfer of Kansas City; his stepsons, Mike and Jon Morris; his grandchildren, Tate, Tyler, Tiffany and Ashley; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Quinn.
