It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Avant Wright formerly of Topeka, Kansas, born in Independence, Kansas, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Evelyn Pruitt, Felix and Ruth Wright. He is survived by: his parents, Betty E. Wright and Lawrence G. Wright; and his siblings, Doris W. Carroll (Greg Carroll) and Larry Wright, Jr. (Trudy Wright). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
