With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie L. Hersh (Topeka, Kansas), born in Delia, Kansas, who passed away on October 25, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence T Gideon and Anna L Reilly Gideon; her husband George M Hersh, Sr.; and her siblings, Cline B. (Evelyn), Clarence J. (Jane), Clifton D Gideon, Helen F Sheetz (Lloyd) and Doris Josephine (Jo).
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Helen Hersh Franklin (Elmer), Lucille Hersh Johnson and Florence Hersh Schoener; her children, Lisa A Hersh of Portland, OR, John M Hersh (Linda), George M Hersh II (Marcia) and Brian C Hersh Topeka (Lonna); her grandchildren, Jessica Dercher (Tom), Ashley Tomes (Janson), Jamie Murray (Andrew), Mark Hersh Allison Offield (Jaclyn), Melissa Hersh, Whitney Hersh, Katelyn Hersh, Emily Hersh and Shelby Hersh; and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Brody Dercher, Weston, Grant, Baker Mae Tomes, Clara and Quinn Murray.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Topeka High School Historical Society, 800 SW 10th St, Topeka, KS 66612, Midland Hospice Care in Topeka or to the charity of your choice.
