She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Lucern; her grandmother Godlove Holder; her husband John R. Velen; her daughters, Cindy McGinnis (David) of Topeka, Sandy Grubb (David Horn) of Topeka and Karen Johnson (Jeff) of Hutchinson, Kansas; her grandchildren, Sara (Ryan), Michael (Meghan), Jennifer, Annika (Daryl), Cara (Austin), Sydney and Robert; and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Anthony, Cameron and Beckett.
