He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ethel V. Hewitt and Frank A. Wente; his wife Sheila Lee Wente; his daughters, Tonya Highfill (Larry), Tamra Stallman (Russell) and Telisa Stringer (John); and his grandchildren, Tyler Dougherty (Angella), Luke Stringer (Meredith), Justin Dougherty (Sydney), Casey Lee Smith (Wyatt), Corrinne McGreevy (TJ), Julia Stringer, Haley Stallman, Will Stringer and Samantha Stallman. He was also cherished by 15 great-grandchildren and numerous friends.
