He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Niedens and Mary Niedens (Steinert); his stepdaughter Denise Henley; and his siblings, Ervin Niedens, Isabelle Schneider, Clista Funk, Helen Dumler and Alvina Dietz.
He is survived by: his former wife Fern Karst; his wife Cheryl Henley (Smith); and his children, Dana Hammond (Marvin), Mike Niedens (Debbie), Craig Niedens (MeeSun) and Darin Niedens (Candace). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
