It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlene F. Stoppel of Scott City, Kansas, born in OKeene, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Dobrinski and Lydia Karbs Dobrinski; her husband Duane A. Stoppel; her son Jeff Stoppel; and her siblings, Roger Dobrinski, Verna Ramsey and Anette Sneath.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike (Becky Stoppel) and Dwight (Sheree Stoppel); her sister Virginia Ramsey of Claremore; and her grandsons, Chris (Dawn Stoppel), Kelly (Kendra Stoppel), Blake Stoppel of Corpus Christi, Kaleb (Allison Stoppel) and Nick Stoppel of Kansas City. She is also survived by Eight Great Grandchildren.
