She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Freeland and Patricia A. Casper; her brother Lonnie "Ratty" Freeland; and her grandsons, Trent Truax and Hunter Truax.
She is survived by: her husband Neil O'Connell of Scott City; her children, John "Jake" (Amy Jones), Suzan Gilbert of Garden City and Shikara Lumpkins of Newton; and her brother David Freeland of Illinois, Nine. She is also survived by Nine Grandchildren, and Two Great Grandchildren.
