He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Miller and Sophie Miller (Lampe); his wife Ila Young; his daughter Carolyn; and his granddaughter Fayelyn Cook.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Birdsall Young; his children, Lynn (Charles) of Illinois, Deanna Cook of Sterling and Willard Miller Jr. (Teresa) of Sterling; and his sisters, Bernice Bandel and Hollis Green. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
