He is survived by: his wife Anna Lou; his daughters, Michelle Anderson (Michael) of Anthony and Karen Kraus of Rose Hill, Kansas; his daughter-in-law Catherine Schlaegel of Tampa, Florida; and his brothers, Gary Schlaegel (Marian) of Whiting and Chuck Schlaegel (Connie) of Holton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
