He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Gordon and Wilda Faye Dooley (Williams); his wife Vera Carrie Urquhart of Mandan, ND; his close friend Constance "Connie" Andrews of Lakeview Village; his children, William J Dooley (Barbara Aldridge) of Kansas City, MO, Michael J Dooley (Pamela Koerner) of Lee's Summit, MO and Susan Marie Stockdell (Brian) of Scottsdale, AZ.; his grandchildren, Leah (Dooley), Eickhoff (Formerly Richmond) of Chagrin Falls, OH, Elizabeth (Dooley), Erin (Dooley) and Karen Dooley of Kansas City, MO; his great grandchildren, Lauren Eickhoff, Annelise Forney, Wyatt Forney, Naomi Forney, Ryan Goris and Nathan Goris; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Natalie Aldridge and Jared Aldridge.
