He was predeceased by: his brother Jerry Tietjens; and his parents, William Tietjens and Estella Tietjens. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his stepdaughters, Kelli Holthaus (Roger) and Misty Collins (Matthew); his brothers, Dennis Tietjens (Wanda), Terry Tietjens and Clint Tietjens; his nephew Matt Tietjens (Roni); his great-nephews, Luke and Will; his niece Patricia English (Hank); and his great-nephew Jack. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NEK Hospice, in care of Chapel Oaks Funeral Home.
