With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Lee Hardesty of Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert and Margaret Ann Hardesty (McNeilly); and his wife Carol Knoerzer. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Brent Biondo of Missouri and Brian Hardesty of Missouri; his stepchildren, Kristie Tucker (Tim) of Georgia and Eric Schmidt of Colorado; and his siblings, Bob Hardesty of Ohio, Betty Garrison of Kansas, Gary Hardesty (Karen) of Kansas, Cherryl Wiltse of Kansas, Jim Hardesty of Kansas and Stephen Hardesty (Rita) of Missouri.
In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Christmas Shoebox.
