He is survived by: his wife Coleen Maffei; his son Colten Defreese of Pittsburg, KS; his stepbrothers, Danny Chapman of Sheldon, MO, Darrell Chapman (Debra) of Nevada, MO and Don Chapman (Geri) of Webb City, MO; and his pet Aya.
