With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Johns of Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on March 10, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry 'Hank' and Nannie Bell Johns (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Johns; his children, Deborah Russell (Jay) of Arcadia, Kansas, Dale Hunkele (Kathleen) of Columbus, Georgia, Charley Reef (Tammy) of Wichita, Kansas, Sabrina Marbut (Steve) of Webb City, Missouri and Nick Rookstool (Brittany) of Riverton, Kansas; his grandchildren, Jayce Milburn, Tyler Marbut and Kaitlyn Rookstool; his sisters, Dorothy Jacks, Vicky Dibble, Debbie Beasley (Everett) and Nancy Alexander; and his close friend John Bates (Joyce).
The family suggests memorials be given to the Care to Share Cancer Support Group.
