He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrl A. Hix and Helen E. Hix (Tabler); his siblings, Helen L. Stroud (Hix) and Daniel Henry Hix; his wife Juanita Bogle Hix (Knee); and his stepchildren, DeWayne Bogle and Diane Bogle.
He is survived by: his son Clifford D. Hix (Haiqian); his grandson Desi Xing Hix of Carl Junction; his daughter Tammy R. Hix of Pittsburg, KS.; his stepchildren, Donnie Bogle and Debbie Colvin; his grandchildren, Michael Munson (Jadi), Walt Plumlee, Sydney Cucchiara, Kristen Munson, Jack Plumlee, Milan Cucchiara, Alexis Cucchiara, Frankie Cucchiara and Wood; his great grandchild Memphis Jack Munson; and also Charles Colvin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Frontenac, Kansas or the SEK Humane Society.
