He is survived by: his friend Kay Jones; his wife Kay; his children, Anne (Matt), Will (Priya) and John (Kristen); his grandchildren, Eleanor, Teddy, Bhau, Brahma and Marlo; and his sister Marita Barkis (Dave McKim).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the charity of your choice, in memory of Marvin.
