He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Trickett and Myra F. Trickett (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Prothe; his children, John Trickett (Jean) of Louisburg and Trish Armstrong (Mike) of Allen, TX; and his grandchildren, Kierstin Castro (Lee) of Sherman, TX, Laura Straub (Daniel) of Shawnee, KS, Ashtin Armstrong of Austin, TX, Kaiden Armstrong of College Station, TX and Maysen Armstrong of Allen, TX. He is also survived by other family members including several cousins.
Memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Blocktoberfest or JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to further Type 1 research funding).
