It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lee Gilliland of Paola, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Earl and Gladys Mary Gilliland (Roman); and his brother Allan Gilliland. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Mae Soetaert; and his sons, Larry Lee Gilliland (Gaila), Jerry Lee Gilliland (Dawn) and Terry Lee Gilliland (Dee). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
