With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Mize Head of Paola, Kansas, born in Bonner Springs, Kansas, who passed away on April 7, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mize and Grace Tucker Mize; and her brothers, Glenn, Paul and George Mize.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth D; her daughters, Dr. Allison Anderson (Craig Anderson), Barbara Head (Greg Musil) and Dr. Diane Head of Madison, WI.; her grandchildren, Dr. Erin Anderson Giebink (Brian), Dr. Madeline Anderson, Molly Murray (Derek), Houston, Peter Litzler, Denver, Nathan Squire, Dallas and Ian Squire of Santa Barbara, CA; and her great grandchildren, Charlie and Maeve Giebink.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests honoring and remembering Eleanor with memorial contributions to the Baker University Wetlands & Discovery Center.
