He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Carey and Gladys Roush (Marsh) of Virginia; and his brother Gary Kinnan. He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela McCartney (David), Lisa Roush, Nicole Fike (Adam) and Kelsey Allen (John); his siblings, Virgil Kinnan (Barb), Barb Strait, Sandy Case, Connie Hoyle (Ron) and Terry Kinnan; his sister-in-law Sharon Kinnan; and his former wife Linda Roush. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
