He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Hendrix and Mary Kathryn Stubbs (Crobarger); and his siblings, Howard, J. C., Harold Stubbs, Georgia Lee and Betty Boone.
He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Born; his children, Brigitte Rodewald (Darrel), Ricky Stubbs (Dena), Harry Stubbs (Gay) and Paul Stubbs; and his sister-in-law Jo Ellen Stubbs.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to made towards The American Legion, Always and Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary, or The Miami County Museum c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary-Paola Chapel 305 N Pearl St. Paola, KS 66053.
