He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Slim" and Lucille Vogeler (Johnson); his siblings, Joanne Vogeler and Charles Vogeler; and his sister-in-law Kelly Gibson-Bloomer.

He is survived by: his wife Becky Gibson; his friend Chiefs; his pet Rambo; his son Cass Vogeler of Ottawa; his siblings, Walter Vogeler (Melinda) of Ottawa, Janet Stewart (Blaine) of Ottawa, Joyce Johnson (Rudy) of Currie, Bob Vogeler (Esther) of Branson and Wayne Vogeler (Carol) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Mia and Kellan Vogeler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
