It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deryl Thompson of Ottawa, Kansas, born in Coldwater, Kansas, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry Thompson and Alice Marie Thompson (Harkleroad); his wife Betty West; and his siblings, Retha Friend and Rodger Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Thompson of Kansas City, MO and Retha Elizabeth Davis (Gary) of Kansas City, KS; and his stepson Joshua Loveland of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
