Betty Barnes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2024, at the age of 95, Betty Barnes of Ottawa, Kansas, born in Pomona, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Kristenson (Hartpence) and Wilbur Kristenson; her husband Donald Barnes; her son Larry Barnes; and her siblings, Wilbur Kristenson, Jr. and Dorothy Nadine Nitcher.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Ferris (Jim) of Ottawa, KS; her grandchildren, Terry James Ferris (Beverly) of Edwardsville, KS, Michael Lee Ferris of Kansas City, KS and Amy Alfrey (John) of Junction City, KS; and her daughter-in-law Anne Barnes of Ottawa, KS. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
