It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Morton Hampton of Olathe, Kansas, born in Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie James Morton and Faye Mullis Morton; and her husband Joe Kimble Hampton. She is survived by: her sister Brenda Kay Morton Cooper (Jack); her daughter Michelle Burris James (Allen); her grandsons, AJ James (Paige) and Brown James (Sydney); and her great grandchildren, Faye James, Josephine James, Joseph James and Michael James.
