He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Payne and Keydron Payne (Hollingsworth); his brother Jack Payne; and his nephew Bradley Gustafson. He is survived by: his sisters, Anna Gustafson, Glenna Hartman and Betty Brown. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
