She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Nadine Donham (Willhour) and Jack Donham; and her siblings, Nancy Soward and Everett Donham. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Smith; her daughters, Robin McDonald of Albia, IA, Enid Penner (Bruce) of Whitewater, Peggy King (Mike) of Hesston and Amy Vogt (Scott) of Hesston; her grandchildren, Belinda Preston, Tammie Maddy (Jesse), Stanley McDonald (Brittany), Wesley McDonald (Sara), Julie Stewart (Wes), Lonnie Penner (Danielle), Ethan Penner (Michaela), Toby Penner, Erin King, Ryan King, Taylor Voisin (Sam), Caitlin King, Allyson Pearce (Loren), Zachary Vogt and Jordyn Vogt; her brothers, Butch Donham (Bonnie) and Carl Donham; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Koch and Loretta Donham. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made to either Dyck Arboretum of the Plains or Berean Academy.
